Shock absorbers

Shock absorbers or dampers are a mechanical or hydraulic device designed to absorb and damp shock impulses. It does this by converting the kinetic energy of the shock into another form of energy which is then dissipated. See shock absorbers below.

  • High speeds cause vehicle to be unstable
  • Your vehicle tips to one side in turns
  • Vehicle rear-end squats when speeding up
  • Frequent bouncing tires
